Edit
I edit documentary, art film, commercial and narrative work — the kind of projects where the cut is a creative decision, not just a technical one.
I work closely with directors throughout the process, from rough assembly all the way through to picture lock.
If you're not quite sure what you need yet, that's fine too — sometimes the best place to start is just having a look at what you've got.
Grade
I grade in DaVinci Resolve across a range of formats and deliverable types.
Whether you're after something naturalistic that gets out of the way of the story, or a more considered and stylised look, I like to start from what the project is actually trying to feel like rather than reaching for a preset.
I'm used to working with directors who have a strong visual sense, and equally used to working with those who just know what they don't want — both are perfectly good starting points.
Master
Finishing is where things can quietly go wrong, so I take it seriously.
I deliver for cinema, web, broadcast, and commercial playback systems of all kinds (including VHS!), and I'm always happy to help unpick specs if the requirements are complicated or contradictory — which, honestly, they quite often are.
